Recovery Record operates two distinct sets of infrastructure. One in  Germany and one in the United States. This is due to legislation in Europe that prevents data being exported outside of Europe (GDPR). This means that a Clinician in Europe who is using our Europe servers cannot link with a client in say the United States using our US servers. This can cause some issues.

We allow clients to change their compliance region which will move the data from one region to the other. However we don't have this for clinicians. A clinician will need to create a new account in the correct region. Please contact us to help with this process.

e.g. A USA citizen starts using the client app while in Europe and wants to link with their USA based therapist. To achieve this the client will need to manually change their “Compliance Region” to “Non-Europe” by clicking “More” → “Settings” → “Compliance Region”

Client App. More → Settings
Scroll to the bottom and tap "Compliance Region
Compliance Region can be changed here. Changing compliance region will move all data from one Region to the Other.
