Setting boundaries and expectations will set you and your client up for success.

We recommend sharing a client agreement and discussing with them. Additionally, there are three ways to manage expectations within the app.

1. Turn on your do not disturb times. We cover this in depth in this article.  Tap on the button labeled “More” at the bottom right of the control panel, and go to “your Profile”. Now, Select “Do Not Disturb Times” and enable this feature. When enabled, you will not receive push notifications regarding client activities during your do not disturb times, and if a client tries to contact you in the app, they will be notified that it is outside of your office hours. You can customize your hours for every day of the week.

2. We recommend enabling "Delay After Hour" messages. With this enabled, you can give feedback at any time of the day, but your client will only receive that feedback during regular work hours.

3. You can clarify expectations further by clicking on the button labeled “More” at the bottom right of your screen and then on Expectation Settings. Let your client know how much engagement they should expect from you by choosing one of our examples, or drafting your own. Once selected, assign to your desired client, and hit “yes” to show a banner sharing these expectations with the client.
