No. The Family App is designed specifically for parents and caregivers and is not intended for the child or adolescent to use for their own meal or behavior tracking. This supports treatment approaches in which caregivers take an active role in monitoring nutrition and supporting recovery, particularly during earlier or more intensive phases of treatment.

When you determine that a child or adolescent is ready to take greater responsibility for their own tracking, they can use the original Recovery Record app. The caregiver can continue using the Family App for monitoring, caregiver-focused support and resources, and communication with the treatment team. When both apps are being used, you can view the child's Recovery Record information and the caregiver's Family App information separately within your clinician account. This allows you to support increasing independence when clinically appropriate while continuing to engage and support caregivers in their role.
