How is caregiver and patient privacy protected when using the Family App?
The Family App is designed to provide caregivers with a private and secure space to document meals, observations, concerns, and other information relevant to their child’s recovery and to communicate with their treatment team.
Caregiver information in the Family App is maintained separately from information the child or adolescent enters in the original Recovery Record app, and the child does not automatically have access to the caregiver’s entries or communications. As a clinician, you can access information shared by caregivers who are linked with you through your existing clinician account, while caregiver and patient information remains separately identifiable. Caregivers can also use device security settings and the Recovery Record Passcode Lock to further protect access to the app on their phone. For additional information about data collection, storage, privacy, and security practices, please review the Recovery Record Privacy Policy
