Can the child or adolescent see what their caregiver enters in the Family App?

No. The Family App is designed to provide caregivers with their own space to monitor meals, document observations and concerns, access support, and communicate with the treatment team. Information entered in the Family App is not automatically shared with the child or adolescent, even if the child is separately using the original Recovery Record app. Caregivers can further protect their privacy by using their phone’s security settings and enabling the Recovery Record Passcode Lock within the app. They can also use Discreet Reminders to prevent sensitive information from appearing in notifications.
This separation can be clinically important. It allows caregivers to document their observations and communicate openly with you without needing to limit what they record out of concern that their child will see it. If both the caregiver and child are using Recovery Record products, you can view their information separately within your clinician account.
