Current research and clinical experience consistently show how essential caregiver involvement is in helping a young person recover from an eating disorder.

The Family App was created with this in mind—it gives parents and caregivers a meaningful, accessible way to take an active role in guiding and supporting their child’s recovery at home.

While the original Recovery Record app is built for individuals to track their own experiences, the Family App focuses entirely on the caregiver perspective. It allows parents to log meals, track progress, notice patterns, and record challenges or concerns. It also provides practical skills and guidance designed specifically for the caregiving role, helping families feel more confident and supported in the moments that matter most.
