Can my patient and their parent both be using the same login?

This is possible. Multiple phones can be logged into the same account. Some considerations

  1. You won't automatically know who wrote what. You might like to have the parent comment on all the logs they make just writing “Mom” or “Dad” on them so you know which ones are theirs.
  2. The parents can see everything the child writes and vice-versa. So you might get less honesty in the logs and messages.

Many clinicians find it more beneficial to have a parent (or both parents) sign up to their own account via the patient app and log separately to the child. If the parent wants visibility to their child's logs they can login as their child on our web interface or sign up for a clinician account (free for one patient) and link with their child as well.

The setup you and the family choose really depends on the goals and tradeoffs.
