I'm not getting push notifications when a patient messages me

Could be one of three things. (1) The notification for “New Messages” is disabled for that patient. (2) Notifications are disabled for the entire app (3) The phone is set to “Do not disturb” profile. 

(1) Checking if notifications for new messages are on for a patient.  Note: this setting is per patient. 

Tap the patient's menu (Third icon along the bottom) then “Notification Preferences”.
Make sure the switch for “New messages” is turned on. You might also like to turn on “Play a sound on notifications” at the bottom.

(2) Checking if notifications are enabled for the entire app.     
 

Launch the “Settings App” then Click “Notifications”

Open the “Settings” app.
Click “Notifications”
Scroll down through the list of apps (Alphabetical) and click “RR Clinician”
Turn on “Allow Notifications”

 

Android

Could be one of two things. (1) The notification for “New Messages” is disabled for that patient. (2) Notifications are disabled for the entire app

 

Tap the patient's menu (Third icon along the bottom) then “Notification Preferences”.
Make sure the check box for “New messages” is turned on. Then click “Manage”
Make sure “Show Notifications” is switched to on. Also make sure “Pop on screen” is on.
